The Story of Dogs Evacuated From a Shelter in Dnipro

“Animals are reliable, full of love, true in their affections, grateful and loyal”.

Nowadays we ought to remember that it is needed to help Ukrainian pets.

Besides, do you have any idea of how to help homeless animals? Now, we`ll tell you a narrative which made a deep impression on the U-hearts Foundation team.

The owner of the shelter situated in Dnipro, Yulia, wrote us the story of the dogs, previously evacuated from Zaporizhzhya, Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

Zhora is a French bulldog which came to us from Donetsk. Its owners went to the Western Ukraine, the town of Mukachevo.

“While the owners were getting ready, Zhora was with me, I cured it and finally a dog went to the owners’ home” – says Yulia.

Lola and Mykhailo came to us straight from Mariupol. When their owners left for Poland, Lola and Mykhailo lived with me. I had been treating them for a long time. After recovery Lola stayed with me and Mykhailo went to my mother.

Thus, according to the story, one of the tips of how to help homeless dogs is to feed and stay with them.

The labradors Jacques and Jessie came from Kharkov and Svatov. English bulldogs Taia, Butch, Marcus and Senya are from Mariupol. Pugs Mickey and Shato came from Zhytomyr. Two chihuahuas are from Zaporizhzhya. Knopa stayed with me and her sister Desi found beloved parents. We surely help new-brand parents in keeping the baby, its treating and feeding.

Such dogs as Zhuzha, Bella and Assol which are court terriers came from Luhansk.
Today, they are in the city of Dnipro, in Berezanivka. Volunteers built insulated enclosures for animals at Julia`s own expense, arranged them in their kennel, gave each of them a roof over their heads, love and care.

You can also help Ukrainian pets due to providing accommodation and attention.

In addition, (Julia says), we feed homeless animals in Berezanivka. Also, volunteers often help with providing food for elderly who are in need of help.

“We are grateful to the volunteers for helping with food, I can’t imagine what we would have done without them!”

Today, a majority of previously mentioned animals are in the city of Dnipro, in Berezanivka.

This time, the initiative of the U-hearts foundation gave the shelter 50 kg of fodder. Finally, the team of U-hearts Foundation is not going to stop helping pets.
