Last night, we received a message from the head of the U-Hearts warehouse about a strike. As a result of the russian attack, the Nova Post sorting terminal was damaged. At that moment, it was holding a shipment from us containing 2,100 kg of pet food for animals cared for by shelters and animal rescue volunteers in the Sumy region.
We are already working on arranging a replacement delivery so that the animals can receive food again as soon as possible.
Food intended for 584 cats and 664 dogs in the Sumy region burned at the sorting center — russian aggression crossed the boundaries of humanity long ago. Despite regular attacks on the infrastructure of such critically important businesses as Nova Post, their team continues its tireless work. Fortunately, no one was injured in this attack.
Thanks to their efforts, volunteers and shelters can continue saving animals and count on support.
