Natalia has been rescuing animals since 2011. Her journey began by saving a dog and later a cat with her newborn kittens. Witnessing the suffering of street animals, she started spaying strays, finding homes for them, and offering medical care. Over time, she created a small shelter, now home to 37 cats and two dogs, many of whom are elderly or unadoptable.

Olena Velychko As a True Hero for Animals
Olena Velychko, an animal caretaker in Bykivnia, Kyiv region, took action during the war. She and her husband traveled to occupied areas like Bucha and Irpin to rescue and feed both people and animals. Since then, Olena has saved over 500 animals, reuniting pets with their owners, finding homes, and providing medical care.
