The latest and biggest report of this year in our rubric Report day

Along with Save Pets of Ukraine initiative, we’ve donated 1660 tons of food (637,421 kg of which were in 2023) and fed over 300,000 cats and dogs (70 000+ in 2023). These numbers were possible thanks to our partners Greater Good Charities, IFAW, Tribal Pet Foods, Tundra Petfoods, Pets Corner, Skinner’s Field & Trial, Naturo Natural Pet Food, K9 Natural, Symply Pet Foods, Yora, ACANA Petfoods, Schesir, Canagan, McAdams

Together, we managed to deliver food to the areas with the most challenging security situation in Ukraine.

In 2023, the russian troops destroyed the Kakhovska Hydroelectric Power Plant in the Kherson region. We began actively cooperating with our coordinators from Dnipro and Kherson, and and other organizations together, we evacuated over 1,000 pets, providing them with around 4 tons of food and other necessary items.

Thanks to the support of PIF and Johnsons Vet, we were able to provide 2814 veterinary treatments to shelters, veterinarians and pet volunteers. Collaborating with WorldWideVets and volunteer vets Vetevac allowed us to expand our operations in spay and neuter, and vaccinate cats and dogs against rabies and other diseases.

The VAFO team, who funded the ‘Warm Paws & Hearts’ initiative, enabled us to provide 33 heaters, 5 generators, and 111 dog houses for over 3,000 abandoned pets in Ukraine!

Our partners at the Save Pets of Ukraine initiative donated another 300 houses thanks to the generous support from Greater Good Charities.

Together with the team, we visited various shelters, providing them not only with food but also with cages, beds, toys, and equipment. We care about the well-being of furry friends 💙

One more thing – your help! In 2023, we received 34,279.88 euros in direct donations through our website. 361 individuals made a donation to support pets in Ukraine! Your shares and activity on our page help promote our work. That’s amazing!

The U-Hearts Foundation, with the entire team, expresses gratitude to everyone who supported and helped us. May 2024 be even more productive, and let’s help an even larger number of our furry companions.
